Social

See how other people trade

Social trading is the public layer around the copy desk: profiles, recent trades and commentary. Use it to understand a person before you allocate. A confident post is not a risk disclosure.

Read the record, then the words

Commentary explains a trade. The position history shows whether the explanation matches the risk they took.

Popularity is not quality

A crowded profile can mean a late entry into someone else's drawdown.

You stay in control

Looking does not attach capital. Copying does. Those are different buttons.

Be careful what you publish

If you lead, your closes and your losses are part of the same public record as your wins.

A useful profile

Judge the page the way you would judge a manager card.

  • A history long enough to include a bad month.
  • Position sizes that look repeatable.
  • Markets you understand well enough to recognise recklessness.
  • No promise of a fixed monthly income.

How social fits the other products

Social is the shop window. The allocation happens elsewhere.

  • Copy if you want their trades at your scale.
  • Signals if you want the idea and will place the order yourself.
  • PAMM or MAM if you want a managed mandate.
  • Your own ticket if you only wanted the idea.

FAQ

Is a social post advice?

No. It is someone else's view. Meridian does not turn that view into a personal recommendation.

Can I hide my trades?

Leader profiles are public by design. If you do not want a public record, do not apply to lead.

Does following cost money?

Watching does not. Copying or joining a managed offer puts USD at risk and may include a fee.

What public profiles tend to post

US tech, bitcoin and the S&P. A post is not a fill.
