Bots that send orders for you

A trading bot follows rules when you are not watching. That is the feature and the danger. It will keep sending orders through a regime the rules were not built for. You choose the strategy, the size and the off switch. The market does not care that a program placed the trade.

Read the rules

A bot without a described entry, exit and maximum size is a story. Do not enable it.

Backtests are advertisements

A historical curve leaves out the spreads, the halts and the regime you are about to live through.

Automation adds speed

A bad rule loses money faster, not more wisely. Cap the size before you turn it on.

Fills, margin and losses belong to your account. 'The bot did it' is not an account credit.

A safe way to switch one on

Treat the first week as a test of behaviour, not of profit.

  • Pick one strategy. Do not stack three on the same symbols.
  • Set a size that a full stop-out would survive.
  • Watch the first sessions live.
  • Turn it off if it trades a symbol you did not expect.

When to leave it off

Some days are a bad match for unattended orders.

  • Central-bank days and payrolls, if the strategy is not built for jumps.
  • When your margin is already tight from manual trades.
  • When you cannot check the account for several days.
  • When you do not understand the exit rule.

How to get started

01

Sign in and open bots

Read the strategy card, including what it trades and how it exits.

02

Set a small size

Confirm the maximum position and the USD it can lose.

03

Enable, then check

Look at the first orders. Disable the bot if they do not match the card.

FAQ

Can a bot guarantee income?

No. Any strategy can lose money, and an automated one can do it while you are away.

Does the bot withdraw funds?

It places orders in your account. It should not be a withdrawal path. If you see a transfer you did not make, stop the bot and contact support.

Is this the same as copy trading?

No. A bot follows a programmed strategy. Copy follows a person. You can lose money with either.
